Flexible Learning Options and Choice Paralysis

While some educators and e-learners may not subscribe to Learning Styles, I use it as a guide to try and cater to diverse learners. Thus one of the recent edits I've made to one of my course designs is to include the following options:

  1. Module links via the course main page

  2. eBook

  3. Interactive pdf

  4. ePub

  5. SCORM package

  6. work in progress on Mobi option

I've included the navigation options as a design element and placed a small return to top button near the end of each page. The idea is to offer flexible options without overwhelming the learner (Decision Paralysis...Choice Paralysis...Choice Overload...the Paradox of Choice). Options 2 to 3 should enable off-line access.
